Configuration

How to configure Ticket Guardian to prevent agents from sending incomplete response.

Create rules

As mentioned in Get started page, for Ticket Guardian to help you, you need to define a set of rules. Rule is nothing else but a text, that you wish to be noticed, before sending the response.

If you have no rules yet, which is the case for the first time installation, you will have a message informing you about it:

No rules defined yet, empty list

To add a rule, nothing simpler:

  1. In the input field, type the text you wish to be a rule

  2. Click Add button

The message about empty list of rules will disappear, followed by a rule displayed a small badge.

First rule added

This means that Ticket Guard will now look for "My New Rule" text inside public replies beore they are sent out.

Remove rules

To remove rule, you can simply click on it directly in the list of all rules.

To remove rule, click on the rule itself

Pause validations

Sometimes you might wish Ticket Guardian to not do any verifications for you. If this is because you found an issue with it - please email us at support@pineapps.net, we will get back to you with an hour.

Otherwise, you can toggle the status of Ticket Guardian by using available to you in the top right corner Pause button.

If Ticket Guardian is currently active, you will see Pause.

Active Ticket guardian, can be paused

If Ticket Guardian is inactive, you will see Resume button.

Ticket Guardian is inactive, ready to be resumed for duty!
