# Configuration

## Create rules

As mentioned in [Get started](https://pineapps.gitbook.io/ticket-guardian/get-started) page, for Ticket Guardian to help you, you need to define a set of rules. Rule is nothing else but a text, that you wish to be noticed, before sending the response.

If you have no rules yet, which is the case for the first time installation, you will have a message informing you about it:

To add a rule, nothing simpler:

1. In the input field, type the text you wish to be a rule\

2. Click **Add** button

The message about empty list of rules will disappear, followed by a rule displayed a small badge.

This means that Ticket Guard will now look for **"My New Rule"** text inside public replies beore they are sent out.

## Remove rules

To remove rule, you can simply click on it directly in the list of all rules.

## Pause validations

Sometimes you might wish Ticket Guardian to not do any verifications for you. If this is because you found an issue with it - please email us at ***<support@pineapps.net>***, we will get back to you with an hour.

Otherwise, you can toggle the status of Ticket Guardian by using available to you in the top right corner **Pause** button.

If Ticket Guardian is currently active, you will see Pause.
